We use 2 methods of teeth whitening for our patients. If you want to dramatically lighten the color of your teeth but don't want to wait for weeks to see the results, then Rembrandt in-office whitening is the choice for you.

Using a proprietary, professional grade whitening gel and the special Rembrandt Lite will produce high-intensity whitening; dramatically lightening your teeth up to 10 shades whiter in about an hour. Some of our patients have experienced tooth sensitivity for a time after this intense treatment which we treat with the use of a topical fluoride Prevident; prescription fluoride toothpaste.

Most of our patients choose the at-home option for teeth whitening. But it's very important for your safety and to achieve optimum results to do this under the guidance of an experienced dentist. Dr. Pyle will make you custom fitted trays to ensure that you won't get bleaching gel on the soft tissues of your mouth, while having trays that precisely fit the contours of your teeth. This ensures your teeth will get uniform whitening as opposed to over-the-counter whitening kits where the results can be hit and miss. Your teeth will usually reach optimum whitening in approximately 3 weeks by wearing your trays an hour each day.

The whitening gel used in these kits is milder than our in-office treatment and a careful dentist like Dr. Pyle makes sure that his patients do not experience any long-term issues, such as sensitivity, with its use.
